Caminar Services

Caminar is a nonprofit agency with over 40 years of experience providing community based support services for people with disabilities. Caminar services are designed to enable adults and older adults with mental health, physical and developmental disabilities to live and work in their community in accordance with their ability and desire.

We strive to provide supportive, caring environments that respect the power of individuals to create meaningful and satisfying lives for themselves. Our innovative programs offer hope and encouragement by providing people with opportunities to obtain support services, affordable housing, employment and education.

Our mission is to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities by providing opportunities to live with dignity and independence.

The Caminar staff believes that every client should be treated as an individual and deserves a personalized road map for achieving his or her goals – learning to live independently, developing a social support network, obtaining employment, or simply making new friends. It is our focus to provide the support that will enable the people we serve to achieve their goals and lead successful lives on their own terms.
